WHAT FORMATS OF THE PLANS ARE INCLUDED?
PDF is a digital file format of the house plan intended for viewing and printing purposes.
CAD file is a digital file format of the house plan which holds drafting information and can be modified. These files can be opened using AutoCAD software or many other popular CAD programs.
Reverse PDF is the pdf form of the mirrored or reversed version of the floor plan, available upon request.

The plans above are provided in both a PDF and CAD format with your purchase.
HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY PURCHASED PLANS?
The plans will be delivered over email with instructions for a digital download after your purchase. We cannot refund an order once plans have been delivered. All sales are final.

HOW TO I KNOW THE HOUSE PLAN WILL FIT MY LOT?
Before you select your house plan purchase, you will need to determine the size of your lot or property. When you originally purchased your property, you should have been provided with a document illustrating the size of your lot. In addition, you may need to hire a land surveyor to survey your property and contact your local planning department for additional lot restrictions.
WHAT IS A BUILD LICENSE?
With the purchase of a full set of house plans you receive a limited build license to use the plans for the construction of one (1) dwelling unit. For more information, please see our terms + conditions.
CAN I CUSTOMIZE MY HOUSE PLAN?
Once you have chosen your house plan, you might be interested in making adjustments. You can request to customize the following components:
Windows & doors
Ceiling heights
Ceiling treatments (i.e. vault or coffer)
Cabinetry layout
Expand or shrink home (within 5 ft.)

HOW DO I GET MY PLANS PRINTED?
Plans are typically printed in a large format such as 24 inches x 36 inches. There are many printing companies that provide large format printing, which you can find in your local directory.

WHAT ELSE IS NEEDED FOR A BUILDING PERMIT AND CONSTRUCTION?
In addition to the Urban Home Studio house plans you purchase, you will need the following (not limited to):
Site Plan of the purchased design on your property with Zoning information & local requirements
Structural Engineering design & plans
Topographical Survey (if applicable)
Civil Engineering Grading & Drainage plans (if applicable)
Geotechnical Soils Report (if applicable)
Energy Compliance Report
Arborist Report (if applicable)

INTERIOR DESIGN PACKAGES
CAN AN INTERIOR DESIGN PACKAGE BE PURCHASED WITHOUT A HOUSE PLAN?
Yes! Our Interior Design Packages are sold separately so they can be purchased with or without a house plan.
WHAT DO I DO IF A PRODUCT LINK DOESN'T WORK?
Please contact us. We are available to help you troubleshoot the problem. Keep in mind that Urban Home Studio does not operate these external sites and assumes no responsibility for the availability of products listed. We are happy to help you find a suitable replacement material if the product listing cannot be found or is discontinued.

The Interior Design Packages are digital product which will be accessed via download link in PDF form.

Feel free to contact us. We can assist you in finding a compatible replacement material for discontinued or out of stock items.

Due to the nature of digital products, we cannot refund an order once packages have been delivered. All sales are final.
